Don’t worry about Glassdoor – this employee tells you what you need to know about Ultralife

“I started my career at Ultralife as a production operator where I was taught the basic skills of the operation. I learned to weld, assemble, and solder multiple types of battery packs. A position was posted for a Quality Technician and with the support of my peers, I applied. After accepting the position, I trained with the Quality Engineer and Incoming Inspection to learn the ins and outs of the quality system. In addition, I was encouraged to take online classes in relation to ISO where I was certified to ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 13485:2016 Lead Auditor. Four years after moving into the Quality department, I was provided the opportunity and accepted the position as Quality Systems Engineer. In this role, I work closely with the management team to ensure all our processes align with ISO standards. I assist in conducting internal and external audits with customers, ISO auditors and suppliers. I continue to take online classes to meet the needs of the organization.

My successes are due to the encouragement and appreciation of the team here at Ultralife. I wouldn’t be where I am in life without the support of those around me. I am proud to be a part of the Ultralife organization.  You can be too!” – Sandy K. Daeffler, Quality Systems Engineer for Ultralife Corporation
