Veterans Connect will be on site at Fort Drum military base for an in-person Career Fair on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. This fair is open to all employers who are interested in adding these skilled, well-disciplined workers to their team.
Veterans offer our labor market not only a plethora of skills and competencies, but they also bring with them various federal benefits that offer a residual boost to the community, such as education benefits, housing, stipends, health benefits, and various others. Over two hundred military service members transition out of active duty per month at Fort drum, making this is a prime opportunity for employers who are interested in hiring Veterans to engage with this skilled and well-disciplined labor force. Veterans Connect is a program from Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce.
