Are you eligible?

In-School Youth Eligibility

14 to 21 years old, Low Income, AND at least one of the following:

Pregnant or Parenting
Disability
Offender (involved in any stage of juvenile or adult justice system)
Homeless or Runaway (couch surfing)
Foster Care (involved in any stage of the foster care system or in an out-of-home placement)
Basic Skills Deficient (at or below 8th grade reading or math level OR non-passing grades/report card)
English Language Learner


Out-of-School Youth Eligibility

16 to 24 years old, AND at least one of the following:

High School Dropout
Within the age of compulsory school attendance, but has not attended school for at least the most recent 45-day school calendar year quarter
Pregnant or Parenting
Disability (including IEP or 504 plan while they attended school)
Offender (involved in any stage of the juvenile or adult justice system)
Homeless or Runaway (couch surfing)
Foster Care (involved in any stage of the foster care system or aged out)
*Low Income & High School Diploma/HSE recipient and Basic Skills Deficient
*Low Income & English Language Learner
*Low Income & Youth who needs additional assistance – Poor Work History (less than 1 year with same employer), At risk for Substance Abuse, Underemployed (working less than full-time and/or not earning enough to be self-sufficient), Non-custodial Parent, Parent/Guardian is or has been Incarcerated during youth’s lifetime, Veteran, or a Victim of Physical, Sexual, or Domestic Violence Abuse.
